It came the day for Cristy and Berty’s engagement session. It was a beautifully sunny day at El Tunel de Guajataca in Quebradillas. It is spring time, but Puerto Rico’s weather was screaming summer. The beach was full and the tide was high. Even though it was crowded, it just felt like the perfect day for shooting.
Cristy and Berty, a lovely couple from the town of Lares, had a bunch of ideas for their engagement. I love it when couples are so involved! They even brought a beautiful mirror to use as prop ( I absolutely loved it!!). The color combination was green with a few hints of blue, which perfectly contrasted the surroundings. About the time we were going to shoot around the beach, the unexpected: rain started to pour! But, oh boy did it lend itself for some cool shots. I just told them, “guys if you don’t mind getting wet just go ahead and have fun”, and that’s what they did. Thank’s to Cristy’s mom Millie for holding the umbrella for me to protect my gear! 🙂
Cristy and Berty, thank you for inviting me to capture your engagement session, can’t wait for your wedding day at the Camuy Caverns!
