Here are some Questions you should ask your wedding photographer to ensure he/she is the right person to photograph your wedding.
I am a photographer based in Puerto Rico but will travel to any location. I also work in New York, and Washington DC, but I’m not limited to these locations.
I’m a contemporary photographer with a relaxed and a photojournalistic approach. As an experience-driven wedding photographer, my shooting style is quietly unobtrusive.
Absolutely!! If you want to see more of my lgbtq+ wedding portfolio please visit this link https://nilkagissell.com/lgbt/ .
Yes, I have public liability, professional indemnity and equipment cover.
No, I only book one wedding per day. Thus, if there are timeline changes you don’t have to worry. My day is dedicated to you, and you alone.
Yes, I bring an assistant. However, my assistant is not a second photographer. My clients do have the option to upgrade any package and add a second photographer for the whole day or parts of the event, for example, the ceremony.
My booking process is fairly simple. If you have decided I’m the photographer for you, upon confirmation I will send you the wedding agreement via an online agreement signing platform. You can sign the agreement using any computer or smartphone. There’s also a retainer fee of $400. The remaining balance is paid 14 days before the wedding day.
I accept PayPal, cash, check, bank deposits, and ATH Mobil from Banco Popular.
Absolutely! I always have two camera bodies with me at all times. This ensures, that in case anything goes wrong with one of them I don’t have to worry about missing your precious memories. I also carry a whole bag of lenses and extra gear.
Thankfully, I’ve never had anything happen to me and I haven’t had to use a backup plan. However, there’s a whole section in my wedding agreement to cover this. If for some reason I’m not able to shoot your wedding I will find a talented wedding photographer that works a similar style and provide you with the option to have this photographer photograph the event. I have a great network of colleagues on speed dial in case of an emergency.
As per the agreement I keep them for a year. I always recommend my clients to upload their high-resolution images to the cloud. Technologies change, I still remember floppy disks! The cloud is a much safer storage location for your precious memories.
