Old San Juan, the Perfect Place for an Engagement Session
Old San Juan, with its architectural beauty and old time nostalgia has been one of the favorite locations for engagement session for couples visiting Puerto Rico. This 465 year old neighborhood, has an array of forts, plazas and parks that are undeniably some of Puerto Rico’s best. A walk through this city will make you fall in love! So it was no surprise Kirsten and Chris chose this city for their engagement session.
Early Morning light at Old San Juan
Some people prefer the afternoon, and others the morning. The light is at it’s best at either this two occasions. Specially in Puerto Rico, since we don’t have twilight, it is important to be on point with sunrise and sunset times to catch the best available light.
This time we woke up early enough to catch the sunrise. This time of day is my favorite at the Old City! The streets are quite, the breeze is calm and the new day is just beginning. Chris and Kirsten had just gotten engagement and Old San Juan played great to capture their love.
We began the session at Paseo la Princesa overlooking the ocean. We strolled through the streets enjoying the beautiful colonial architecture. We closed the day in front of El Morro.
