Not all weddings have to be big events. Sometimes all you need to celebrate is each other. In reality, not everyone wants to spend their budget on a big wedding. A lot of couples rather have a cute outdoors ceremony by the beach or a special place to them, and then splurge on a dream vacation.
If that sounds like you, Why Not Choose Puerto Rico as an Elopement Wedding Destination?
If you are traveling from the US you do not need a passport and for the most part is a short flight away. If you travel during winter you will be greeted with fantastic all year long summer weather. Good food, good drinks and an Island surrounded by ocean, which means so many beaches to choose from. No wonder so many couples travel here to say they’re I do’s.
Rebecca and David are not the exceptions. Their elopement in Puerto Rico was everything they had dreamed off. From walking the charming streets of Old San Juan to visiting the historic San Cristobal Fort. To top it all off, we hoped on an Uber to the next destination: Piñones Beach. They were welcomed with a perfect sunny day for their intimate elopement. They exchanged vows with the Atlantic Ocean as their witness. Then they headed back once more to Old San Juan for a delicious celebratory dinner at Marmalade.
