If you have decided already to get married in Puerto Rico the list of weddings venues is very long. For such a tiny Island (100×35 miles) the beauty you can find is endless. It can be overwhelming to narrow down the most photogenic hotels in Puerto Rico and to help you out here’s my list. I’m listing them in no particular order, I love them all!
Condado Vanderbilt Hotel
This luxury hotel was originally built in 1919 with a Spanish revival style. Located in Condado, the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel was renovated in 2014 and offers the feel of grandeur many luxury weddings are looking for. Its elegance and modern look it’s perfect for the modern and refined couple looking to host a traditional or a non traditional wedding.
Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico
The Antiguo Casino is a sophisticated venue built in 1913 in classic French architecture style. It offers outdoor event spaces with beautiful views of Old San Juan and indoor space boasting of elegance with antique chandeliers and marble floors.
Hotel La Concha Beach Resort
Just like the put it, “elegant and chic modern architecture with spacious exhilarating décor and detail”. La Concha Resort is a spacious beachfront hotel and it’s the perfect location for your tropical Caribbean wedding.
Hotel El Convento
This enchanting boutique property pairs rich history with modern amenities, and offers a variety of wedding salons to fit your guest list and your style. The highlight is Salon Campeche, where a 50-foot vaulted ceiling and stained glass windows top an elegantly checked marble floor. One of my favorite things about El Convento is how conveniently located it is. Just step outside its door and you are greeted by all the beauty of Old San Juan.
El San Juan Hotel
Located in Isla Verde, the San Juan Hotel is a beach front romantic venue named one of the Top 15 hotels in the Caribbean. This hotel is said to hold modern tropical splendor with the old-world elegance. After hurricane Maria it was renovated to their classic style, blending historical and modern design.
The Olive Boutique Hotel
The Olive Boutique Hotel has a Mediterranean décor and stylish suites. It has views of the Laguna del Condado. Its rooftop offers a sophisticated oasis for your destination wedding.
Intercontinental San Juan
The Intercontinental Hotel is also a beachfront property with Mediterranean architecture. It underwent renovation after hurricane María to “keep pace with the latest trends in modern sophistication and comfort”.
Casa de España
Casa de España was built in 1934 designed in a Moorish Revival style with an interior rectangular open patio and rooftop that overlooks the San Cristobal Fort. Fun fact is that the entrance fountain is a copy of one located at La Alhambra in Granada Spain. So if you love colonial style, open patios, tiles, and miradors, among other beautiful architectural details this definitely is the place for you.
Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort
This beachfront laid-back resort offers four wedding salons to choose from. You can hold your wedding ceremony outdoor overlooking the ocean and have your wedding reception indoors, outdoors or at a rooftop terrace.
