Engagement Session In NYC

I met Glaelis and Antonio in New York City. We had planned to shoot their engagement session in Brooklyn, one of my favorite NYC spots. It was charged with emotions since it took place right after Hurricane Maria. We were all so concerned about our Island of Puerto Rico; people bond during times of crisis. I felt a special connection with Glaelis and Antonio, like if we were friends from way back. This connection made me excited about their wedding.

This cute pair planned their destination wedding in Puerto Rico, their beloved Island. La Concha Resort was that perfect place for their event.

First look between Glaelis and Antonio

Staying away from the traditional, Glaelis and Antonio opted to have the first look. A first look is a time for the couples to see each other before the ceremony. I love first looks and recommend them. It gives the couple some alone time before the ceremony.

It’s a space for themselves where they can get all their emotions out and not worry about anything before the ceremony. It’s also great to have their pictures taken with intact hair and makeup. 😉

Wedding Ceremony at Sereno Pool

Their ceremony took place at Sereno Pool and they were so excited! The Atlantic Ocean and sandy beach make for a beautiful backdrop. There were smiles, tears of joy, and laughter in bloom.

Reception at Salon Mirador

After the ceremony, we headed to Salon Mirador, La Concha’s 12^th floor roof terrace with an amazing view of Condado. And they brough it! A cute finishing touch was their decision to have sparklers.
