Getting married at Hacienda Siesta Alegre is a dream worthy experience. Certainly one of my favorite Hacienda destinations in Puerto Rico, their beautiful kept gardens and El Yunque background are what fairy tales are made from.

How about a first look?

Bianca and Rafael opted to have a first look. If you wonder what a first look is, it’s a moment before the ceremony were the couple get to see each other for the first time. More than for the practicality of timing, I recommend first looks because it gives the couples some quite time before the ceremony. Many times, we meet our clients on the same day of the wedding. I know this might make them feel anxious about the ceremony or about having their picture taken. By having a first look, it eases all those nervous feelings. First look also allows for the couple to enjoy cocktail our with their guest.

Wedding Ceremony at Hacienda Siesta Alegre

After the first look and couple session the ceremony took place at the Hacienda. If you haven’t visited yet the Hacienda, the ceremony location overlooks El Yunque. It is truly a magnificent experience to say your I do’s in such a beautiful location.

Reception with some traditional Batucada

It’s always a good idea to have some entertainment planned for your guest. In Puerto Rico some of the most popular are Batucada and Pleneros. Bianca and Rafael had a Batucada come over to entertain their guest and everyone was having a blast!
